Rafinha´s agent demanded the coach to respect the player

The defender Rafinha did not comment on his situation at Schalke, even when coach and manager Felix Magath questioned the quality of the player, who is the fans` idol. Now, his agent, Naor Malaquais, speaks about his clients situation. He emphasizes that the only reason for the criticism of Magath is the fact that the contract of Rafinha nears its end and Magath is afraid of not getting a transfer fee for the player after the end of this season.

"Rafinha is the only player from Schalke who has reached the Brazilian national team, he has played over 200 games for his team and is adored by fans. He really played an excellent season last year" complained Naor Malachi


"Rafinha is very excited to play the Champions League and win titles with his club. It would be a great injustice by the coach to push him out of the team. Rafinha is with his attention fully focused on the pre-season and hopefully the club sees this the same way" added the agent.
